Lisa and Marcus’ greenery barn wedding was a testament to the term “teamwork makes the dream work”. Nature was not on our side that day but with the help of incredible wedding partners, we succeeded in pulling off a beautiful ceremony.

The sun was out but the winds were INTENSE. We held out on the all-to-real decision of moving their Plan A outdoor ceremony inside until the very last minute. At the end of the day, the winds were just too strong for guests to have a good experience. Trust me, I was out there testing every seat and standing where the party would be thinking, “well at least the wind is blowing in the right direction for the bridesmaids’ hair!”.
As I always say, we will do everything we humanly can to make your wedding dreams come true. We must, however, always have a realistic Plan B. Our decision to bring the ceremony inside was ultimately decided for the guest experience. So, in about a fifteen-minute sprint before guests arrived, everything set-up outside was brought in! The one good thing about the wind was the epic dress photos the photographer was able to take. There’s always a positive!

I LOVED the amount of dogs I had in my weddings last year. Louis gave us a bit of a scare with an allergy attack the night of their rehearsal. Thankfully, he was able to bounce back to serve as Best Dog for the wedding. Please, please include your fur babies! I can’t get enough.

Another great couple and wedding party for the books. And guess what? I’m actually going to be seeing them again this year as I will also be coordinating the bride’s sister’s wedding! I loved her warm and inviting family so I am pretty stoked.
